NaPro Technology: Morally acceptable medical treatment for infertility

The two videos below provide testimonials on NaPro Technology and the Creighton Model of natural family planning. NaPro Technology is a system of treatments for infertility and other reproductive health issues that aims to treat the underlying cause of the problem. The Creighton Model is a method of charting a woman's cycle in order to postpone or achieve pregnancy, that can also help doctors to diagnose underlying medical issues. The two methods work together, and are fully in accord with Catholic teaching on sexuality and openness to life (as opposed to IVF and contraception, both of which separate reproduction from the marital act).

Natural Family Planning - A Better Way

Here are two videos from the creators of the 1flesh.org web site. The videos mention some of the advantages of natural family planning (NFP) over contraception.

You can find out more about the Creighton Model of NFP at www.creightonmodel.com, or you can find a listing of teachers and doctors who teach and promote this method of NFP at www.fertilitycare.org.

There are also several other good and effective methods of NFP besides the Creighton Model, which you can learn about at the following sites:
