Here is another video from Catholic News Service:
This video reminds me of a great blog post from a few years back, called What's a Hymn For?, by Fr. Dwight Longenecker. Click through and read it if you get a chance. It is one of the best articles I have read about the problems with some of the music used in Catholic parishes in the United States.
Also check out The Reinvention of Parish Music at Crisis Magazine, for information on some very promising and talented young composers and publishers who are taking it upon themselves to provide better music for Catholic worship.

Scott Hahn on Catholic Answers Live
The following videos are from an appearance by Scott Hahn on the Catholic Answers Live radio program. He answered questions on several different topics, but several of the questions were related to evangelization. Dr. Hahn's answer in the final video is especially enlightening, regarding St. Paul's preaching in Athens, and what we can learn from it today.
I posted the first two of these videos earlier this year, but here are all of the available videos from this particular episode:
You can find Catholic Answers Live's program schedule and archived audio here, and you can find more video clips from this program here.

Patrick Madrid on Catholic Apologetics
Over the past few weeks, I have posted four episodes of Prepare the Way with Martha Fernández-Sardina, in which she interviews Patrick Madrid regarding several of his books. Here is an older episode of the same show, again with Patrick Madrid as the guest, this time on the subject of Catholic apologetics:
There is also a follow-up episode which continues this discussion, but I don't plan to post it here because it is more a discussion of how Patrick goes about his apostolate (e.g., details about Envoy Magazine and an upcoming Catholic conference), without much direct discussion of apologetics or of the Catholic faith in general. However, if you would like to see this follow-up episode, you can find it here.

"Catholics Come Home" National TV Campaign
I was very excited to learn today that Catholics Come Home will be starting a national TV campaign this December, with prime time TV ads inviting people back to the Catholic Church. This video announces the campaign and shows the 30-second ad that will be aired:
The National Catholic Register has more details about the ad campaign, and you can also learn more at the Catholics Come Home web site. Also, you can view the longer (and very moving) version of their "Epic" ad in one of my first posts on this blog.
