Christmas Message from Pope Benedict

I'm a day late in posting this, but we are still in the Christmas season:

Fr. Barron's Catholicism Project: Preview of Episode 10 -- Purgatory

After posting these clips on and off for many months, I am finally posting the last preview clip from Fr. Robert Barron's Catholicism series. This one deals with Catholic teaching on Purgatory.

I have noticed that several episodes of this series are airing in December and January on many PBS stations that did not air any episodes this past fall -- including stations in Arizona, Massachusetts, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia. You can check the TV schedule here, to see if Catholicism will be showing on a PBS station near you. But check soon, as many of the listed airtimes are in the next few days.

Finally, you can find the full list of these clips at Fallible Blogma, or here on this very blog.

Wyoming Catholic College

I have been hearing many good things about Wyoming Catholic College lately. This video gives a good introduction:

World Youth Day 2011 with "Goodness Reigns"

From the description on YouTube:

Former ABC Correspondent Peggy Stanton traveled with the group "Goodness Reigns" to World Youth Day 2011 in Spain. She produced this video to provide a sample of what the English-speaking pilgrims experienced in the catechesis sessions and what the entire Church gathered in Madrid experienced with the Pope.

Also, you can hear an interview with Peggy Stanton, the producer of this video, about her experiences at World Youth Day in this Kresta in the Afternoon mp3 file. (The interview starts around 5:35.)

Bethlehemian Rhapsody

This video is rather cheesy, but I like it anyway:

(Found on Creative Minority Report.)

P.S. Sorry again for the recent lack of posting. Between work, holidays, birthdays, and back problems, I just haven't found much time to post lately. I will do my best going forward, but expect infrequent posting until Christmas at least.
