Here is another clip from Fr. Robert Barron's Catholicism series. Please don't forget that six of the ten episodes from this series will air on EWTN, beginning tonight! If you don't have EWTN on your TV, you can watch EWTN online.

You can find more of these clips at Fallible Blogma.

Teresa Tomeo - Extreme Makeover

I listen to Teresa Tomeo many mornings on her show Catholic Connection, which is produced by Ave Maria Radio and carried nationwide on EWTN radio. Teresa has written a book called Extreme Makeover: Women Transformed by Christ, Not Conformed to the Culture. Here is a video in which she talks about this new book:

"Catholics Come Home" National TV Campaign

I was very excited to learn today that Catholics Come Home will be starting a national TV campaign this December, with prime time TV ads inviting people back to the Catholic Church. This video announces the campaign and shows the 30-second ad that will be aired:

The National Catholic Register has more details about the ad campaign, and you can also learn more at the Catholics Come Home web site. Also, you can view the longer (and very moving) version of their "Epic" ad in one of my first posts on this blog.

Vatican II Hymnal

Great extended interview with Fr. Robert Barron

In this video interview, Fr. Barron talks about his Catholicism video series, his YouTube videos, Catholic education and evangelization, and more. Unfortunately, I can't find an embeddable version of this video, but you can watch it on the home page of the Focus TV web site, at the following link:

Focus TV Online: Fr. Barron Interview

The Fr. Barron interview is currently the second video on the page.

(Please note that I know nothing about Focus TV, and I have not watched any of their other videos, so please use discernment as you would on any unfamiliar web site.)

Thanks to Creative Minority Report for finding this video.

George Weigel on Pope John Paul II

As you probably already know, today is All Saints Day. But you may not know that today is also the anniversary of Pope John Paul II's ordination to the priesthood.

This is also a very special day for my family, because it is the birthday of my second son, whose middle name is Karol (after Karol Wojtyla, who of course is better known as Pope John Paul II).

Therefore, in honor of Pope John Paul II, here is a talk on this great pope by his biographer George Weigel:
